Spur was engaged by Lexus New Zealand to concept and deliver an exclusive two-day media experience to launch the all-new Lexus RZ. Designed for a select group of leading automotive journalists and content creators, the experience aimed to showcase the vehicle’s unique blend of electrification, refinement and performance while reinforcing Lexus’ commitment to omotenashi and elevated hospitality.
We crafted a bespoke journey that immersed guests in the Lexus brand through a series of carefully considered moments. From a luxury stay at Kinloch Manor and an intimate “Table to Plate” culinary experience, to stargazing under the Taupō night sky and a dynamic drive programme at Taupō Motorsport Park, every touchpoint was designed to reflect the sophistication and craftsmanship synonymous with Lexus.
The drive experience combined scenic road routes with track-based evaluation, allowing guests to fully experience the RZ’s capabilities across a variety of environments. Supported by custom branding, premium guest touches and seamless event delivery, the launch successfully created meaningful connections with the vehicle and brand. The result was a memorable and highly curated experience that generated strong engagement and positive media sentiment while positioning the Lexus RZ as a compelling new chapter in Lexus electrification.
