After the successful launch of Spark 5G Lab in November, Spur were briefed to deliver the activation component of “What’s Your Driverless Car”; a new Spark business campaign promoting the 5G network. Spur played a pivotal role in the collaboration with Shine and Ohmio, which culminated in an event at the Wynyard Quarter featuring New Zealand’s first 5G-connected driverless car.
Media and Spark employees were able to able to experience a test drive that showcased the amazing technological advances Spark's 5G network will help enable. The event sparked intrigue from mainstream and tech industry media and (thanks to the team at Sherson Willis) resulted in wide spread coverage:
