nib were looking to create an event that incorporated their two key sponsorship properties; Ronald McDonald House (RMH) and the Blues Super rugby franchise. Spur designed  and produced an authentic, heart-warming experience, transforming the living room of RMH into the ultimate Blues fan club for the derby game against the Highlanders. It was a truly memorable evening as we kitted out RMH with grand stand seating, stadium theming and large screens for the ultimate match-day environment. 

 

Spur Film & Staples created a 360-degree Virtual Reality experience that was launched at the event. This technology dropped the user into the middle of a live Blues training session, enabling them to get up close and personal with their Blues heroes. The VR experience has since been leveraged at Eden Park as part of the nib fan zone.

 

Two lucky families from RMH were also hosted at Eden Park and the green carpet was rolled out as they met key Blues players & coaches as well the Sky commentary team. An evening these families will never forget thanks to nib.
