Spur won a competitive pitch to design and produce an exclusive VIP stakeholder & media event to launch the official adidas All Blacks playing jersey for Rugby World Cup 2023. The project was briefed and led by creative agency Augusto - the outcome was an extremely successful collaboration. The unique event aesthetic resonated with sponsors, rights holders, the athletes, event attendees and the media.

Our experience design combined the legacy of the iconic jersey with the unique features of the new garment. An immersive tunnel (showcasing jerseys through the decades) brought guests into the main space which featured holographic projection and a striking white on black set design. The exclusive event was attended by the French artist behind the jersey art and the guest list was headlined by Hollywood actor and All Blacks superfan, Jason Momoa.
