Corona
Splore 2016 & 2017

Corona and Splore share many values, the most obvious being an appreciation of the incredible coastal locations we experience during a Kiwi summer. Corona's sponsorship of Splore Festival is anchored in the inspiringly amazing "From Where You'd Rather Be" location that is Taupapakanga Regional Park.

For the last 2 summers Spur has worked closely with Corona and Splore to create a main bar that was both functional in terms of service, and inspiring as a brand experience.

In 2017 we added several experiential touch points around the festival. The first was the Corona Print Shack - a t-shirt printing station within the main bar. Attendees could choose from a variety of designs and see them being screen-printed in real time. For every t-shirt purchased, Corona made a donation to their environmental partner, Sustainable Coastlines.

Other additions included a Corona pop-up bar nestled in the bushes where refreshing lime slushies were served to thirsty guests at the top of the goat track (the quickest but steepest access to the campsites).

And lastly, Corona provided a team of dedicated Brand Ambassadors who collected rubbish and recycling throughout the festival to make sure Corona lived by the Splore adage - "Leave no trace".
